Event & Tournament Ticket Policy
Overview
This policy applies to all event tickets, tournament entries, and organised play registrations purchased through P9 Card Game, whether purchased online or in-store.
Events may include, but are not limited to, tournaments, leagues, organised play sessions, and other gaming events organised by P9 Card Game.
1. Ticket Purchase and Confirmation
For online ticket purchases, the transaction is considered completed when:
• the website confirms that the purchase was successful, and
• the ticket confirmation email has been issued.
The ticket confirmation email serves as proof of event entry.
If a confirmation email is not received, customers must contact us within 72 hours of purchase to confirm that the ticket has been successfully issued.
Failure to contact us within this timeframe may affect our ability to verify the purchase before the event.
2. Refund Policy
Customers may request a refund up to 7 days before the scheduled event date.
A £5 administrative processing fee will be deducted from the refunded amount.
Refund requests made within 7 days of the event date are not eligible for refund.
Refunds will normally be processed using the original payment method.
3. Ticket Transfers
All event tickets are fully transferable.
Customers may transfer their ticket to another player at no additional cost.
To transfer a ticket, the original purchaser should provide the recipient with:
• the ticket confirmation email, and
• the name of the original purchaser.
No transfer fee will be charged.
4. Event Changes and Prize Adjustments
P9 Card Game reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to event structures where necessary.
This may include, but is not limited to:
• adjustments to prize distribution
• changes to event format
• modifications to event schedule
Prizes, including participation rewards and performance-based rewards, are considered promotional items.
Prize structures may be adjusted due to circumstances including but not limited to:
• player attendance levels
• product availability or inventory limitations
• logistical or operational requirements
Such adjustments may occur without prior notice before the event begins.
Participants should reasonably expect that prize structures may change in exceptional circumstances.
5. Scope of Ticket Purchase
The primary product purchased when buying an event ticket is entry to the event.
Any prizes, promotional items, participation packs, or rewards associated with the event are provided at the organiser’s discretion and are not guaranteed.
The availability or distribution of such items does not form part of the contractual purchase of the event ticket.
6. Minimum Player Requirement
Some events may require a minimum number of participants in order to proceed.
If the minimum number of players is not reached, P9 Card Game reserves the right to:
• cancel the event
• reschedule the event
• modify the event structure or prize pool
In such cases, participants may be offered either:
• a full refund, or
• the option to transfer their entry to another suitable event.
7. Event Rescheduling or Cancellation
If P9 Card Game must cancel or reschedule an event due to operational reasons, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances, customers will be offered one of the following options where reasonably possible:
• a full refund
• transfer of the ticket to a rescheduled event
P9 Card Game is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by participants, including travel or accommodation expenses.
8. Participation and Conduct
All participants are expected to behave in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner during events.
P9 Card Game reserves the right to remove or disqualify any participant from an event if their behaviour is deemed disruptive, abusive, unsafe, or in violation of event rules.
This includes, but is not limited to:
• harassment or abusive conduct
• cheating or unsporting behaviour
• refusal to follow judge or organiser instructions
• behaviour that disrupts the event environment
In such circumstances, entry fees may not be refunded.
9. Event Attendance
Participants are responsible for arriving on time for the event.
Failure to attend or late arrival may result in forfeiture of participation, and refunds will not be issued in such cases.
10. Event Ticket Validity
Event tickets are valid only for the specific event and date listed in the confirmation.
Tickets cannot be deferred, postponed, or transferred to a different event, unless explicitly approved by P9 Card Game.
11. Photography and Media
Events organised by P9 Card Game may be photographed, recorded, or livestreamed for promotional, community, or archival purposes.
By attending a P9 Card Game event, participants consent to the possibility of appearing in photographs, video recordings, or livestreams used by P9 Card Game for promotional or informational purposes.
If a participant has concerns regarding photography or recording, they should inform event staff prior to the start of the event.
12. Judge and Organiser Authority
All events organised by P9 Card Game are administered by event organisers and judges. Participants must follow the instructions and rulings issued by event staff during the event.
Judges and organisers have the authority to interpret and enforce event rules, including the official rules and policies of the relevant game system where applicable.
All judge and organiser decisions made during the event are final.
Failure to comply with judge instructions or attempts to disrupt the event may result in penalties, including warnings, match losses, disqualification, or removal from the event without refund.
